VICE PRESIDENT

        SUZANNE DROUBIE

              Suzanne Droubie was elected as the first female Assessor of Pima County in 2020. With over 28 years of combined experience as a taxpayer consultant, mass appraiser, fee appraiser, and real estate specialist, Assessor Droubie brings a wealth of expertise and leadership skills. Her unwavering commitment to providing exceptional customer service has transformed the Assessor’s Office into a valuable resource for the constituents of Pima County.
Beyond her accomplishments in the public sector, Suzanne held the esteemed position of Vice President of Property Tax Services for a national Fortune 100 company, advising colleagues, associates, and clients on all aspects of commercial property tax.
Continuously fulfilling her statutory obligations, Assessor Droubie remains dedicated to transparency, fairness, and equity for all county taxpayers. Beyond her statutory duties, she has implemented innovative programs and services that propel the Assessor's Office towards a more efficient and sustainable future. Her forward-thinking approach reinforces her commitment to serving the community and advancing the overall effectiveness of the Pima County Assessor’s Office.

SECRETARY 

      ROXANNE GILLESPIE

I would like to Introduce myself; I am Roxanne (Drye) Gillespie.  Currently an Appraiser III/Land & Agriculture Appraiser with Apache County Assessor’s Office.  I have been with the Apache County Assessor’s Office for 8 years.  I came into this field after leaving my position with Apache County Sheriff’s Office as a Dispatcher. 

I have been the Secretary for the AZIAAO Chapter since January 2024.  Serving on the Educational Committee for five years.  During my career with the Apache County Assessor’s Office, I started as the Front Customer Service Clerk (Validation Coordinator I) November 2018 moving positions to an Appraiser I January 2019, Appraiser II August 2021 and then Appraiser III February 2023.

I have lived in Arizona for over 33 years with Northern Arizona being my home.  Where I have worked for all three entities at Petrified Forest National Park, Navajo County Emergency Services & Health Department, Holbrook Chamber of Commerce and for an Accounting Firm. I have raised 3 children.  I have traveled the world and many parts of the United States.  On my off time I enjoy spending time with my family and close friends.  Recently married my High School Sweetheart and enjoying new adventures in life.

TREAURSER

     TERESA MACK

           My name is Teresa Mack, and I am running for the position of AZIAAO Treasurer. I currently serve as a CAMA Manager with the Mohave County Assessor’s Office, and I am also the acting Treasurer for AZIAAO. I have been a member of the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) for five years. I am actively working towards my MAS Designation, and I am a certified Level 2 appraiser with an AAS in Accounting. Arizona has been my home for all 52 years of my life, having lived in Mohave County the entire time. I was born and raised in Kingman, AZ, and am deeply committed to serving my community. As Treasurer, I am committed to ensuring transparency, accuracy, and efficiency in financial matters. My previous experience has equipped me with the skills to maintain accurate records, prepare financial reports, and oversee audits. In addition to my technical skills, I believe in fostering open communication and collaboration to achieve financial goals. I am eager to contribute to the success of AZIAAO by ensuring sound financial management and supporting its long-term growth. I ask you for your vote for Treasurer for this coming 2026 election.

DIRECTOR

     BEN MANNING

Ben Manning has spent the past eight years working in property assessment, with experience that spans field and analytic appraisal, communications, and now training. He helped launch the NEO Boost Program, which has strengthened support networks for new appraisers, and he is currently developing comprehensive training programs for incoming commercial appraisal staff.

Ben serves on the AZIAAO scholarship and education subcommittees, where he contributes to expanding learning opportunities for members. His background in education and employee development aligns with the chapter’s mission to support professional growth. He values collaboration among counties and appraisal partners and hopes to strengthen that sense of shared purpose as a member of the Executive Board.

Arizona Chapter of IAAO emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. On behalf of the Executive Committee and all of our members I welcome you to our website. Your access to educational opportunities and networking is our top priority. We have utilized many tools including Facebook Live via our Facebook and a YouTube Channel to give our members access to education. We are geographically challenged and we’ve planned our events with you in mind!

The Chapter holds routine elections and offers many opportunities for executive leadership and local involvement in IAAO activities.

Bruce Belon Scholarship Committee

This committee makes recommendations to the Executive Board regarding potential local members for consideration for a grant of AZIAAO funding to attend local and / or international tax conferences. Funds may also provide tuition assistance to local members actively seeking an IAAO Designation.

Education/Program Committee

Take a hand in shaping the educational program annually offered by the AZIAAO! This committee is responsible for making recommendations to the Executive Board regarding all aspects of annual education or training sessions. This includes content, location and time of events.
